Another hand fabricated pendant, done about the same time as the citrine one mentioned several post earlier.

Initial carving from customers rough sketch. I worked in an oval stone she had, but never thought to add.

Pendant after casting, setting, and polishing.

Made using customers stones. Hand carved wax, cast in 14k white gold.

Hand fabricated to match the customers existing ring.

I am very excited about this piece. I have been working on it for about a month now, waiting for the Lapidary to finish the cutting.

I ended up having to do the stone cutting myself, it’s been one of the hardest jobs I have had to date.

This is a citrine piece I did years ago, shortly after returning from the Revere Acadamy in San Fran. Metal fabrication in my opinion is the most rewarding work I can do. I guess I need to get back at it!

I did this quite a while ago, but I keep coming back to the picture remembering how much I liked it. I am told it has been lost, and its recipient was not getting any more custom jewelry for a while.. ![]()

My friend Dave Shayman (aka Disco D) was interviewed on CNN last week. He was nice enough to be wearing the ring I made him bearing his logo! Thanks D, even though I was about the only one that would notice…

Often a customer comes in with a handfull of rings, and says “I want to take all these, and make a ring just like that one” It’s rare when the stones in their rings combine to be able to pull it off, but sometimes, just sometimes, it works.
